Based on the character by Carlos Alazraqui, star of Comedy' Central's Reno 911, The Last White Dishwasher is the story of an ordinary man, with an ordinary job, and an extra ordinary passion for washing dishes. This comedic tale, done as a documentary, whispers a poignant commentary on today's social and political climate and pop culture.

It is written and directed by Award winning director and PLIE's Emerging Film Director Award Winner, Claudia Duran, whose storytelling abilities and sincere portrayals of charcaters perfectly demonstrate her talent as an up-and-coming director.

The Film stars Carlos Alazraqui from Reno 911, Lombardo Boyar (Happy Feet), prolific and award nominated comedian Johnny Sanchez, charismatic TV host and actress, Jill-Michele Melean, and voic-ver diva and actress Tara Strong (Drawn Together). And a special appearance by Cedric Yarbrough (Reno 911).

The Filmmaker Discovery Program's first narrative project presented by Anheuser Busch.
